Gee, Sen. Hawley, maybe the judiciary's frequent TRO's (temporary restraining orders)caused by scofflaw Trump's arrogant acts.. Sen. Josh 6/4/2025 attempted to make a case that Trump was being unfairly treated by the judiciary because more temporary restraining orders were being levied against Trump's actions far more than against any other president. It was an aggressive brow-beating cross-examination of a law school professor. The reason, Sen. Hawley, is because Trump is acting like a dictator, issuing orders that are clearly unconstitutional like no other in US history...on purpose, to try to break down the rule of law so he can rule lawlessly. He is counting on the Supreme Court appointees he backed would be more loyal to him than to the Constitution. Trump's goal: stack the judiciary with judges pledging loyalty to him rather than to the law or Constitution, and to stop TROs by courts with national impact, thereby undermining his opponents. This Trump behavior has opened a clash between traditional conservatives and MAGA radicals. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/trump-administration/trump-aims-build-maga-judiciary-breaking-traditional-conservatives-rcna210785
Trump seems to be taking the Supreme Court's immunity-granting to him to mean he can just ignore the laws and Constitution, and his loyal DOJ would back him up. It is the arrogance of a wannabe dictator. Perhaps, Sen. Hawley, the problem lies in Trump's arrogance, which leads him to behave unconstitutionally on purpose, flaunting it for political purposes, causing the judiciary to put the brakes on him, even with rulings by judges appointed by Trump or prior GOP presidents.
