The GOP's sneak attack on our democracy hidden in the budget bill

 The GOP's budget bill is more than just an assault on humane priorities to benefit the rich, it is a Trojan Horse with a clause that would kill the rule of law in the US, and the ability for courts to hold the Trump administration accountable.. keeping them from being held to court orders and being held in contempt of court for violating their rulings.It emasculates the court's ability to enforce rulings. It is enough that the Supreme Court granted a wannabe dictator immunity from criminal prosecution, but now the GOP House wants to write into law that the administrative branch can ignore the courts and be protected from being charged with contempt of court. This is Congress now granting Trump immunity from the courts and his violation of the Constitution.. This clause has nothing to do with the budget...but it is about ending the system of checks and balances and separation of powers...and it is sneaky. Clause buried in GOP bill would handcuff courts as Trump's legal battles grow.
