More Malarkey: Romney's job and tax plans

Malarkey?  I have some nominations  not yet on the talk show radar.
1.       Romney: “My 5 point plan of (oil) energy increase, tax reform , China crackdown, job training…will add 12 million jobs”.   Per Moody’s analysts and others, even if Romney is not elected, 12 million jobs will be added in 4 years. (Implication: that’s the trend of the economy now).  Romney is like the rooster who is taking credit for the sunrise.
2.       Romney: By eliminating corporate loopholes and deductions, my $5 trillion tax reduction will be revenue neutral and the middle class will not be hurt (or conversely, my preference is not to take away middle class tax deductions…just so the deficit is not increased).  Former Colorado governor Dick Lamm, speaking to Denver Rotary Club last Thursday…said that Newt Gingrich tried to do something similar in his Contract with America.  Congress could not even decide to reduce the Mohair tax perks.    Given the big business and oil sector support of the GOP, do you really think this will happen?  Yes, when hell freezes over.
