How many people die because lack of health insurance? Harvard study 2009: 45,000

Repeal and replacing Obamacare off to a bad start and headed for outrage by voters

A very ill informed, insensitve GOP Representative, Raul Labrador of Idaho,  dared to assert at his town hall that he knew no one who died from lack of access to  health care . Before Obamacare in 2009, a study showed that 45,000 died a year because of lack of health insurance.  His outraged audience knew better.  These are the kind of men who approved the House replacement for Obamacare. The same representative earlier said that he did not believe health care was a right.   In the Senate, their version will be shaped by a committee composed only of men, yet the victims and patients most adversely affected by the House version are  women.
