Biden is on to the right messaging slogan. It worked for a pizza company.

" Biden delivers"is a new slogan. Biden is on to something. It worked for a pizza company. It can work as a campaign theme for many other issues, too. Note:  This new slogan is coupled with the next phrase: Trump didn't ( or won't, deliver. In fact he is a threat to democracy.)  Finally, Biden began drawing a contrast with Trump. The time is right; Trump has secured his nomination, and the 2024 presidential election cycle has begun. New Biden TV ad hits Trump on manufacturing jobs (nbcnews.com). His first use of the slogan was aimed at what was once the Rust Belt but was critical to winning in 2024. Biden delivered by bringing back manufacturing to the US with well-paid jobs; Trump's raising tariff barriers and hostility to unions failed. So far, Biden has used the new slogan in providing jobs and higher wages.

Update: 11/20/23 Recently emerging messaging challenges regarding the Hamas-Israel war show young people unhappy with Biden's actions and stance as not being Palestinian enough.  Whether the plight of the Palestinians will be an issue a year from now is unknown.  The obvious unconcern for their safety by the IDF has hit a sympathetic vibe among younger voters. However, much depends upon the progress made in the two-state solution and Biden's support of that for years and if he can engineer that, as well as to credit for his wisdom and skills. Also, the participation by neo-Nazis in pro-Palestinian demonstrations should be a red flag to university students that are supposedly educated about history. They are being played by some ugly forces.  In short,  much can happen between now and November 2024. Neo-Nazis and the Far-Right Are Trying to Hijack Pro-Palestine Protests (vice.com)   Trump has also called to ban Gaza refugees from immigrating to the US as well as his history of stoking Islamaphobia.Opinion | A short history of President Trump’s anti-Muslim bigotry - The Washington Post  That is the contrast that Biden can make.

Certainly, infrastructure funding success provides another opportunity to do that. This "Biden delivers" could be a theme in which to make campaign pitches, especially when the goals Trump had that were popular, but he failed to deliver (Trump's four years of  hiding "infrastructure weeks"  came up empty.)   However, the new slogan could have a wider application and be a winning theme in many contexts. It is a way of answering the "too old" attack.  He was not too old to deliver, and Trump, 3 years younger, did not. and won't. This hits at Trump's incompetence in making government work and the danger in the plans he already announced for a second term, including the ending of democracy as we know it. Most recently, he repeated again that he would use the Department of Justice to get revenge on his political enemies. His plans to replace civil service employees with his loyalists is his frequent pledge.. His dictatorship inner-self is not an empty threat. Second, Biden can use such well-documented promises are no joke. Trump suggests he would use FBI to go after political rivals if elected in 2024 | Donald Trump | The Guardian  Biden delivers democracy; Trump delivers its end..

Examples of applications are many:.Biden supported policies that directly helped the middle classes, while Trump relied on cutting taxes to the rich, which failed to trickle down and drove up the deficit even before COVID-19.   Biden delivers on the environment, keeping democracy as we know it, increasing national security, and strengthening and expanding alliances in Europe and Southeast Asia. Trump did not, tried to overturn an election, threatened to turn government on its head, demanding pledging allegiance to Trump instead of to the constitution (which he would like to change), disses the rule of law and judicial institutions, undermined NATO and Ukraine's struggle against Russia,  destroyed the nuclear deal with Iran leashing Iran to go nuclear, and the trade deals keeping our Southeastern Pacific allies closer to us.,,.

Of course, the GOP and Trump will respond that he failed to deliver on border issues (but Trump didn't either) and in dealing with inflation. Biden gave with tax policy favoring the middle class and rolling back the breaks to the rich; Trump still believes in the failure of trickle-down as the rich got richer.  Biden  should get credit for advocacy on more money for dealing with the administrative glut and deportation of those who did fit into seeking refuge from prosecution)  in his mega-defense proposal, but the delivery is still pending.  There is no telling where the inflation rate will be a year from now, but he did deliver by reducing it from 10% to 3% (or current figures), and in this case, he kept on the same Federal Reserve team Trump put in place so he would not have done better either. (The price of gas at the pump reference will depend on  that is closer to November 2024)  Instead, Trump failed to get prescription drug prices under control, and Biden delivered.  The GOP wants to cut social security and Medicare eligibility, but Biden would protect it with taxpayer funding.  The GOP wants to cut social safety nets, feeding the hungry;  Biden delivered protecting Medicaid and SNAP.

You get the gist.
