There are indeed several problems with grocery prices. Everything else seems to be leveling off or at least similar to inflation of around 3% except groceries. Yes, he is doing what he can about it, and he is supporting plans to deal with shrinkflation, the practice of charging the same for every less product in the package, price gouging, and anti-competition practices such as stopping the merger of Kroger and Albertson/Safeway this month.
