Is it time for an intervention? Trump's obsessions are getting out of hand

I am no mental health professional, but if I had a friend to was obsessed about accumulating power for himself by threats and show of force, who was also obsessed with getting revenge for past wrongs, and threatening fearful action against any who would do him wrong in the future, I would be concerned and hope he got some help.   It may be only a hope, because it would take someone with more guts than I have to deal with someone who would take revenge against anyone who would intervene.

Trump is no friend of mine, but the only intervention that has a chance of working is a stiff rebuke at the ballot box.

Here is how it looks to me:

So obsessed is he that he fails to deliver on the goods he promises during elections and makes the situation even worse: the cost of living in housing and food.  Instead, he actually raises costs through tariffs and taking away affordable health care and student loan forgiveness .. He controls the content to reflect his racial preferences by taking away funding or permits from universities, the Smithsonian, public broadcasting, and private broadcasting so that only his view of politics is heard, dominate,  or seen. I'm sure I left something out..but this is what comes to immediate mind.

Trump is obsessed with accumulating power for himself by abusing his power, using fear and threats, and ignoring constraints contained in law and the Constitution. He focuses on revenge and "retribution" against perceived enemies by using the DOJ "investigations" and unverified accusations as an instrument to get revenge,  while trying to cover up past bad behaviors (Epstein) or ignoring his own corruption in amassing a fortune by his crypto side business, which permits foreigners to contribute and makes him a target for bribery..

He uses military in streets of cities in only blue states that have declining crime statistics; he declares some imaginary national emergency to try to circumvent the few constraints left on him, the president, that are in plain enough English in the Constituion to abuse his power as Commander in Chief and find excuses to put armed and uniformed military in cities and states without their permission, either to punish them for being blue and black or to stop any demonstrations against him or ignore due process requirements..;.His DOJ now functions as his private attorney to justify any abuse in legal terms and carry out his revenge by conducting legal actions against his political enemies with no probable cause evidence and cover up any negatives...as in the Epstein files. or threatening and investigating those in the DOJ who once prosecuted him or ruled against him in Court...  He instructs his loyal red states, like Texas to cheat and manipulate Congressional representation district boundaries to benefit him in an upcoming election while ignoring civil rights constraints in the Constitution against racial gerrymandering. He rallies racists to support him with dog whistles and sly comments that are more like bull horns, and his ICE cherry picks certain races to detain, snatching off the streets and imprisoning them in cruel conditions without warrants and minimal due process, and recruits those who want to save "their culture" from "others", an overt appeal to White Nationalists. His use of racism only adds to his accumulation of power for himself, not to mention the damage he does to the rule of law.

So obsessed is he that he fails to deliver on goods he promises during elections and makes the situation even worse: cost of living in housing and food.  Instead he actually raises costs through tariffs and taking away affordable health care and student loan forgiveness. He controls the content to reflect his racial preferences by taking away funding or permits from universities, the Smithsonian, public broadcasting and private broadcasting so that only his view of politics are heard or seen. I'm sure I left something out..but this comes to imeedicate mind.
