However, there was some hint that Trump and Putin discussed some sort of a NATO "light"? agreement that any peace deal/real estate deal would need to be enforced with an effective security method. That Putin would agree to that would be a surprise since he has clearly stated publicly he wanted all of Ukraine and former USSR satellites. Without such an agreement, gifting Putin a portion of Ukraine would be foolish.
